Terms of Service

By creating a ClaimTally account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

ClaimTally is a home-inventory and insurance-claim documentation tool for policyholders, agents, and adjusters. The service helps users capture, organize, value, and export inventories; it does not underwrite insurance, adjudicate claims, or guarantee any specific valuation. Valuations produced by the AI pipeline are estimates and should be reviewed by a qualified professional before submission to a carrier.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. Agent accounts require verification by ClaimTally administrators before gaining the ability to invite policyholders. Agents may act on behalf of linked policyholders only after the policyholder has accepted an invitation.

Photos, audio, transcripts, and inventory data you upload remain yours. You grant ClaimTally a limited license to process and store this content solely to operate the service (AI analysis, storage, retrieval, export). You may delete your data at any time from Settings.

You will not (a) misrepresent items or values to defraud an insurer, (b) upload content you do not own the rights to, (c) attempt to access another user’s data without authorization, or (d) use the service for any unlawful purpose.

ClaimTally is currently in beta. Features may change, data may be reset during major upgrades, and availability is not guaranteed. We will give reasonable notice before any destructive change.

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. ClaimTally is not an insurance provider and does not guarantee acceptance of any claim.

To the extent permitted by law, ClaimTally and its operators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced via email where feasible.
